Set in the same universe where “starlight crystals” power ships to travel faster than the speed of light. “Darkwave” is the name of the phenomenon that wiped out all the crystal’s powers at the same time, stranding untold thousands of manned vessels in space. We see the aftermath of a world with a government tightening its grip on power and a loosely connected rebellion trying to keep the starlight crystals remaining power out of their hands.
